Even unto the morrow after the seventh sabbath
shall ye number fifty days;
and ye shall offer a new grain offering unto the Lord.
Leviticus 23:16
Sha·vu·oth
noun: Shavuot
1.
a major Jewish
festival held on the 6th (and usually the 7th) of Sivan, fifty days after the
second day of Passover. It was originally a harvest festival, but now also
commemorates the giving of the Law (the Torah).
Passover /Barley * Shavuot / Wheat
Biblically, Shavuot is identified with wheat firstfurits
(Ex34:32), whereas passover time is identified with barley firstfruits. We must
keep this separation and distinction in mind.
There is so much to GLEAN from this holiday – it is multifaceted in meaning, history and foretelling of Jesus Christ! It is fascinating to study each aspect. Please read the following articles that go in depth of this special time of offering to the Lord.

Pentecost
On
Pentecost, the Church received the Comforter - the Holy Spirit sealing and
promise that the Bridegroom would one day redeem (pick up) the purchased
possession. Pentecost was a promise of a future fulfillment - a future
completion. Our Comforter was also given to remind us of what Christ - our
Redeemer - said, and what He wanted us to do, as we saw His promise coming
closer to completion. We see the day approaching, right now!
Let us have an ear to hear what the Spirit saith to the Church! Time is short! Maranatha!

Majestic Pentecost
wedding! June bride maybe
There is a lot to edify and ponder regarding God's word and example of this special feast.

Jesus Christ - Yeshua Hamashiach - is our Passover Lamb! It is by his shed blood that we are saved (1 Corinthians 5:6-8). The atonement for our sins has been fulfilled. It is important to note that we live under grace through the sacrifice of Christ. Yet these living symbols can enrich the comprehension of the finished work of Christ and deepen the understanding of future prophetic events.
The Pentecost-Rapture Scenario: The Church is “betrothed” to the Lord on Pentecost, marking the commencement of the Church Age. Roughly 2,000 years later, the Church is wed to the Lord, also on Pentecost, marking the conclusion of the Church Age. This parallels the biblical wedding tradition that consists of two stages: The first stage is the betrothal, or erusin, at which time the bride and groom become legally married via a written contract (shitre erusin) but do not dwell together. The second stage is the fullness or consummation (nisu’in), when the nuptials are finalized and the bride and groom dwell together.
Hebrew Calendar
In
Exodus 12:2, יהוה instructed Moses and Aaron to reckon the month of the Exodus
as "the head of the months" and it is to be the "head of the
year". The Exodus occurred in Hebrew Month 1. As יהוה wanted Israel to be
a spiritual nation walking in the light of truth, He instructed Moses and Aaron
to reckon the Spiritual Year from the spring - from Month 1 - as this was also
the month in which the universe was created.
The Creation Calendar Reckons the Universe was Created in Month 1
