Abraham Accords – Peace in the Middle East?

Abraham's Journey:

The Bible documents Abram and his family’s journey from Ur to the land of Canaan.  .

And Terah took his son Abram, his grandson Lot son of Haran, and his daughter-in-law Sarai the wife of Abram, and they set out from Ur of the Chaldeans for the land of Canaan.

Genesis 11:31

The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the God of our fathers,
has glorified His servant Jesus.
Acts 3:13

The Abraham Accords Declaration

We pursue a vision of peace, security, and prosperity in the Middle East and around the world.

In this spirit, we warmly welcome and are encouraged by the progress already made in establishing diplomatic relations between Israel and its neighbors in the region under the principles of the Abraham Accords.  We are encouraged by the ongoing efforts to consolidate and expand such friendly relations based on shared interests and a shared commitment to a better future. (excerpt)

The Abraham Accords refer collectively to the agreements of warm peace, diplomatic relations, and full normalization between Israel and partner countries including the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Morocco, Sudan, and Kosovo. The Abraham Accords mark a historic step toward moving beyond the Arab-Israeli conflict that has, historically, inhibited progress in the Middle East since the founding of the State of Israel in 1948. Over seven decades, this conflict divided countries and local populations while allowing a counter-productive narrative to undermine hopes for a better future for the people of the region.

The Abraham Accords constitute the beginning of a transformation of a region that has historically confounded geopolitics. As Secretary Blinken recently observed in his remarks receiving Israeli Foreign Minister Yair Lapid in Washington, “You rightly noted our strong support for the normalization agreements, the Abraham Accords with Israel’s neighbors and beyond. We strongly support this and hopefully there’ll be other participants.”

The Abraham Accords are bilateral agreements on Arab–Israeli normalization signed between Israel and the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain on September 15, 2020.

The Abraham Accords Declaration
We, the undersigned, recognize the importance of maintaining and strengthening peace in the Middle East and around the world based on mutual understanding and coexistence, as well as respect for human dignity and freedom, including religious freedom.

Done at Washington, DC, this day Elul 26th, 5780, Muharram 27th, 1442, which corresponds to 15 September 2020, in the Hebrew, Arabic and English languages, all texts being equally authentic. In case of divergence of interpretation, the English text shall prevail.

Keep your eye on Israel and the Middle East.

While the mainstream media has gone from “Rona to Russia” the deals Israel has continued to make with their Arab neighbors has been largely unnoticed. There was a lot of attention of the Abraham Accords back in 2020, but with the change in leadership of the USA and Israel it has gone on the back burner of headlines. Although, other countries are now pursuing bonds with these countries as well.

1 Thessalonians 5:3, Daniel 9:27
Historic ABRAHAM ACCORDS Summit Happening In Israel Right Now!!!
For 30 years, from 1948 until 1978, not a single Middle Eastern nation made peace with Israel. It was not until 1979 that Egypt made that historic move! The next Middle Eastern (and Muslim) nation to make peace with Israel was Jordan in 1995, 16 years later. Well since then, not a single Islamic, Middle Eastern nation has made peace with Israel...that is, until now, 25 years later! So, what previously took 47 years (from 1948 to 1995) took place in a matter of hours!! This is completely beyond anything we have seen in the modern history of Israel which is God's prophectic time clock!
The treaty of Daniel 9:27 is signed, and the signing of the treaty starts the Tribulation Period. Watch Israel, watch the skies, our redemption draweth nigh!

March 29 - The US, United Arab Emirates and Israel launched a joint working team that will promote religious coexistence and tolerance, just a day after the Abraham Accords states met at the Negev Summit in Israel.
The three will work to advance a detailed and innovative plan for dialogue between different religions and cultures, as well as for the fight against hate on a religious basis.
"The Abraham Accords are one of the most significant strategic changes I have seen in the three decades I have been involved in diplomacy in the Middle East," said Zeya. "They bring clear benefits not only to the countries and peoples concerned, but also to the whole world."

March 30 - Israel's President Isaac Herzog is met King Abdullah II on a historic official visit to Jordan on Wednesday. The two discussed regional and security challenges ahead of the Passover, Ramadan and Easter, all of which coincide this year. The day before Gantz’s visit, the Jordanian leader made a rare visit to Ramallah to meet with Palestinian Authority leader Mahmoud Abbas about calming tensions ahead of Ramadan.

Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi Sheikh Mohammad bin Zayed Al Nahyan hosted him for lunch at his private residence.

Abraham Accord: Death Covenant -

Psalm 25:14 The secret of the LORD is with them that fear him; and he will shew them his covenant.
Abraham Accords Signed -

Washington, D.C., September 15, 2020: United States President Donald Trump hosted Bahrain Foreign Minister Abdullatif al-Zayani, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and the United Arab Emirates’ Foreign Minister Abdullah bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan for the signing of the Abraham Accords at the White House.

The peace deal brokered by the United States between UAE-Israel and Bahrain has one clause embedded in the joint-statement that is expected to bring a lot of heat from the Palestinians. A clause included rather cleverly in the recent accords between Israel and Gulf Arab states indicates that the Jews will now be allowed to pray in the disputed compound of the Al-Aqsa mosque.
The joint statement released between the US, Israel, and the UAE on August 13 by US President Donald Trump reads as follows: “As set forth in the Vision of Peace, all Muslims who come in peace may visit and pray at the Al-Aqsa Mosque and Jerusalem’s other holy sites should remain open for peaceful worshippers of all faiths.”

GOLDEN KEY - President Trump Participates in a Bilateral Meeting with the Prime Minister of the State of Israel

PRESIDENT TRUMP: (A ceremonial gold key is presented.) This was a special token of affection, given by myself and the First Lady to the Prime Minister and the First Lady of Israel. And it’s a key — we call it a key to the White House. And it’s a key to our country and to our hearts. And you’ve been an amazing leader for a long period of time. And this is — this is, in many respects, the big day, because this is something that’s very special.

I spoke with the King of Saudi Arabia. We had a great conversation, and I think positive things will happen there, too. He’s a great gentleman. And the Crown Prince — we spoke with the Crown Prince. -

We Are in Prophetic Times Israel Declares “Peace & Safety” With Emerging Leader

Psalm 17

In view of the impending Israeli-Saudi peace accord, it’s interesting that the current King of Saudi Arabia, who rose to power in 2015, is named Salman. In Arabic the name Salman means “safety” or “security.” The ultimate origin of the personal name is the Hebrew name “Shelomo,” a derivative of “shalom,” a word that means “peace.”
The name Salman thus means “peace and safety.”
The administrator of the peace plan, Donald Trump, has a first name that means “world ruler” and a last name that means “trumpet.”
The Israeli Prime Minister’s name, Benjamin, means “Son of my right [hand].” Biblically, the right hand can refer to a place of honor or the exercising of God’s strength or will. Since the Lord sets the course for world events and raises up kings to achieve His purposes, we understand that Benjamin Netanyahu is Prime Minister at this critical time to accomplish whatever piece of the prophetic plan has been determined.
Finally, the architect of the recent and forthcoming peace accords, Jared Kushner, has a name that derives from the Hebrew, Yared, which means “descent.” The word descent can refer to downhill progress or inclination, as in a stairway or path leading downward.
So in the names of individuals involved in today’s push for peace in the Middle East we have—
Peace and safety” (Salman)
Trumpet/World ruler” (Trump)
God’s will or strength” (Benjamin)
A descent or downward path” (Jared)
As the stage continues to be set for the unequaled time of tribulation called “Jacob’s Trouble,” it feels like the leaders in place were handpicked for the moment:
He controls the course of world events; he removes kings and sets up other kings. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the discerning” (Dan. 2:21).

Knesset kicks off marathon session ahead of vote on UAE normalization deal. Lawmakers expected to give overwhelming backing to agreement, but Joint List decries it as an ‘arms deal’ aimed at ‘undermining the struggle’ of Palestinians.
80 members of Knesset voted in favor, 13 voted against and 27 didn’t participate in the vote.

Abraham Accords Oct 16 2020 -  Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin will lead a U.S. delegation traveling to Israel, Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates on Oct. 17-20 (I'm still learning - need to hide the buttons!!)

The delegation will leave Israel on Saturday, and the trip will wrap up on Tuesday

October 17-20 - US economic delegation to visit Israel, UAE and Bahrain seeks to bolster recent US-brokered normalisation deals between the three countries.

The treasury department said Mnuchin and the US delegation, which includes US Ambassador to Israel David Friedman, will join Israeli officials on a direct flight from Israel to Bahrain. They will meet with Bahraini officials in Manama before flying to Abu Dhabi, where “the first-ever Abraham Accords Business Summit” will be held. The group will then fly back to Tel Aviv, the department said.

A US delegation led by Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin and White House peace envoy Avi Berkowitz will participate in the Bahrain talks. Leading the Israeli delegation will be National Security Council Adviser Meir Ben-Shabbat and Foreign Ministry Director-General Alon Ushpiz.

Despite only being an interim document, the declaration with Bahrain may well be brought before the cabinet for ratification and possibly before the Knesset as well, Walla reported.

Israel, Bahrain to sign joint declaration in step toward full peace agreement

WHILE politics and the Covid pandemic dominate the headlines, something monumental and prophetic is happening in the Middle East: Arab-Muslim nations traditionally at odds with Israel are inching, and in some cases leaping, toward normalization and peace with the Jewish state.

Last week, Israel’s parliament approved the Israel-UAE peace agreement, bringing the historical deal signed at the White House on September 15 a step closer to full implementation.

Additionally, on Sunday, October 18, Israel and Bahrain will sign a joint communiquรฉ on establishing peaceful and diplomatic relations, which is said to be a significant step forward from the general peace declaration signed last month. ...

No one knows exactly how the movement will play out. However, we know that the peace being sought will not be real or lasting. Instead, it will bring sudden destruction:

When people are saying ‘peace and safety,’ destruction will come upon them suddenly like labor pains, they will not escape” (1 Thess. 5:3).

True peace will only come to Israel when they accept the Prince of Peace.

March 5-8, 2021 - Iraq papal visit to ancient city of Ur – Pope Francis led an inter-religious service at the ancient city during his visit to Iraq. The gathering was attended by Muslims and Christians, and other religious groups present in Iraq, including Mandaean-Sabaeans and Yazidis. Named the Prayer for the Sons and Daughters of Abraham, the service focused on promoting peace and harmony between Iraq’s religious groups.
“Ur is the highlight of the visit because Abraham represents the sign of unity for all who inhabit this land,” Bishop Yaldo said. “It will be a symbol of unity for all religions.” Why is Ur so important? The ruins of the southern city, which date back to 6,000 BC, lie on a former course of the Euphrates and Ur is one of Iraq’s oldest archaeological sites. Nearly 5,000 years ago, Ur was the last capital of the Sumerian royal dynasties. It is considered a place where writing, central state power and urban dwelling started. It is also the site of a 4,000-year-old Sumerian temple, known as the Ziggurat, an adjacent residential complex and palaces.
The Bible mentions that Ur was the home city of Abraham and the centre of a wealthy empire.

Morocco was the first nation to recognise the fledgling United States as an independent nation in 1777. In the beginning of the American Revolution, American merchant ships in the Atlantic Ocean were subject to attack by the Barbary pirates. On 20 December 1777, Morocco's Sultan Mohammed III declared that American merchant ships would be under the protection of the sultanate and could thus enjoy safe passage. The Moroccan–American Treaty of Friendship, signed in 1786, stands as the U.S.'s oldest non-broken friendship treaty.

How did the Jews lose sovereignty in the Land of Israel after just 500 years? Was it simply a matter of regime change, with the Assyrians and Babylonians asserting their dominance in the region, or was it because the leaders repeatedly failed to listen to Divine advice?
