God's Rainbow - a sign of faithfulness and promise

I have set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be a sign of the covenant between me and the earth. Genesis 9:13

God created this beautiful covenant sign - 

a symbol of God's love, faithfulness and promise.

This used to be a sign of happiness and joy that was displayed in art, jewelry and even clothing.

Now, this sign has been hi-jacked/stolen to represent a lifestyle that goes against the natural creation and God's instructions.  It has been reduced to a flag for a rebellious movement.  During "Pride" month we have been bombarded by the unruly use of these beautiful colors.

We know God is the maker of all things good and he will restore and rectify what is righteous. 

And he who sat there had the appearance of jasper and carnelian, and around the throne was a rainbow 
that had the appearance of an emerald.
