A sneak peek of Pope Francis' trip to Iraq

Treasures From The Royal Tombs of Ur

March 5-8 - Iraq papal visit: A look around the ancient city of Ur – in pictures Pope Francis is due to hold an inter-religious service at the ancient city during his visit to Iraq. The gathering will be attended by Muslims and Christians, and other religious groups present in Iraq, including Mandaean-Sabaeans and Yazidis. Named the Prayer for the Sons and Daughters of Abraham, the service will focus on promoting peace and harmony between Iraq’s religious groups.
“Ur is the highlight of the visit because Abraham represents the sign of unity for all who inhabit this land,” Bishop Yaldo said. “It will be a symbol of unity for all religions.”
Why is Ur so important? The ruins of the southern city, which date back to 6,000 BC, lie on a former course of the Euphrates and Ur is one of Iraq’s oldest archaeological sites.
Nearly 5,000 years ago, Ur was the last capital of the Sumerian royal dynasties. It is considered a place where writing, central state power and urban dwelling started. It is also the site of a 4,000-year-old Sumerian temple, known as the Ziggurat, an adjacent residential complex and palaces.
The Bible mentions that Ur was the home city of Abraham and the centre of a wealthy empire.

It is the Sabbath preceding Shabbat Ha-Chodesh. It is the third of four special Sabbaths. Today the Parashah is Ki Tissa which means "When You Take."

The Red Heifer and the Third Temple in End-Time Prophecy
The Ashes of the Red Heifer and Ritual Purity (Numbers 19:1–2, 10) But the Temple service can’t begin without the parah adumah (red heifer). What does a cow have to do with the rebuilding of the Holy Temple?  How could a simple animal play a vital role in the success or failure of such a monumental event? God’s word states that only the red heifer can restore the Biblical purity needed to rebuild the Temple.
According to The Temple Institute, the organization dedicated to preparing for the construction of the Third Temple in Jerusalem, these cleansing waters are necessary to ritually purify the Temple Mount area, the sacred vessels, and the entire Levitical priesthood that are all being prepared for service today.

March 6 - Iraq declares "National Day of Tolerance and Coexistence" following the historic encounter in Najaf between Grand Ayatollah Ali Al-Sistani and Pope Francis on Saturday morning and the interreligious meeting in the ancient city of Ur later in the day.

"Pilgrimage of Peace" Pope Francis meets Iraq's Grand Ayatollah Sistani
Pope Francis in land of Abraham: “We cannot be silent when terrorism abuses religion” - This song from the book of Genesis marked the start of the interreligious meeting in Ur of the Chaldeans, where the patriarch Abraham, father of the three monotheistic religions, makes his first appearance in the bible. Then this part of the Quran was intoned. Ur is considered the common place of origin of Christians, Jews and Muslims. That's why the pope chose this place for an interreligious meeting. RAFAH HUSEIN BAHER - “Together we subsist through the war's ruins on the same soil. Our blood was mixed. Together we tasted the bitterness of the embargo. We have the same identity.” To conclude the meeting, representatives of the three monotheistic religions joined together for the Prayer of the Sons and Daughters of Abraham. https://www.romereports.com/en/2021/03/06/pope-francis-in-land-of-abraham-we-cannot-be-silent-when-terrorism-abuses-religion - https://youtu.be/ehJN0dfM4h4

“This visit is not only related to religious matters, but it is political also. So we hope that the pope and his power will silence guns and begin a new time of peace in Iraq.” There's an overwhelming sense of hope and optimism that Pope Francis' pilgrimage of fraternity and peace will be another step toward the coexistence and friendship they have envisioned for so many years.

Iraq: Pope’s Prayer of the Sons and Daughters of Abraham
Joined by Muslims, Jews, representatives of different Christian Churches and other Iraqi religious minorities in the Iraqi city of Ur, Pope Francis prays for reconciliation, peace and the strength to rebuild the ravaged nation.
Pope Francis travelled south from Baghdad to the ancient city of Ur to hold an historic interreligious meeting on Saturday, the second day of his Apostolic visit to Iraq. The set-up was stark, but poignant: a simple, tent-like structure, with white drapes to protect participants from the sun, was set up next to Abraham’s house. In the background, the incredibly well-preserved remains of a 4,000-year-old Sumerian temple with adjacent residential complex and palaces known as the Great Ziggurat of Ur.
After the meeting, the Pope gathered in prayer together Muslims, Jews, representatives of Iraq’s Christian Churches, and members of Iraqi religious minorities, including the Yazidis and Sabaeans, who together invoked the Lord for peace, reconciliation and the strength to rebuild the conflict-ravaged nation.

Zechariah penned these verses about 2,500 years ago.
Zechariah 8:16-17 These are the things that you shall do: Speak the truth to one another; render in your gates judgments that are true and make for peace; do not devise evil in your hearts against one another, and love no false oath, for all these things I hate, declares the LORD.

Nahum wrote these words about 2,680 years ago.
Nahum 1:5-6 The mountains quake before Him; the hills melt; the earth heaves before Him, the world and all who dwell in it. Who can stand before His indignation? Who can endure the heat of His anger? His wrath is poured out like fire, and the rocks are broken into pieces by Him.

The 7000 Year Plan of Elohim

In what appears to be a freak accident, a Panama-flagged container ship called the Ever Given, owned by Evergreen Marine Corp., has run aground inside the Suez Canal, the critical artificially made shipping lane connecting the Red Sea with the Mediterranean.
The Suez Canal has been blocked by a giant container ship after a gust of wind blew it off course, causing it to run aground. The MV Ever Given, a Panama-flagged container ship with an owner listed in Japan, "accidentally ran aground after a suspected gust of wind hit it," said the ship's operator.
The 400-meter (1,300-foot) long and 59-meter wide vessel is lodged sideways at one of the canal's narrower points, making it impossible for other ships to bypass it. High winds and a sandstorm, with gusts reaching 50 kilometers per hour (35 miles per hour), had plagued the area on Tuesday.

What precisely the object, or objects, was has not been confirmed, but the National Weather Service in Seattle said it may have been debris from a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket that did not have a successful "deorbit burn."
