Join us for the #Elul 2022 Worldwide National Prayer Invitation
8/28-9/25/22 (Israel observance).
Elul is seen as a time to search one's heart and draw close to God. Elul is the sixth month of the Hebrew ecclesiastical year and the twelfth month of the Jewish civil year. Our focus is on God’s plea to the nations to return to Him. Let's see what can happen during the month of Elul when both Jews and Christians together seek God, pray for the nations, praise the name of Jesus, give thanks and more.
The word "Elul" is similar to the root of the verb "search" in Aramaic. The Hebrew word "Elul" can be understood to be an acronym for the phrase "Ani L'dodi V'dodi Li" –
"I am my beloved's and my beloved is mine."

Aug 26 - Pelosi Says It’s ‘Sinful’ to Oppose Abortion
Roundtable on Women’s Reproductive Health at the University of California San Francisco Mission Bay Campus.
Pelosi said, “The fact that this is such an assault on women of color and women [in] lower income families is just sinful. It’s sinful. It’s wrong that they would be able to say to women what they think women should be doing with their lives and their bodies. But it’s sinful, the injustice of it all,”
Don’t Let the Little Children Come unto Speaker Pelosi
Nancy Pelosi has proclaimed it sinful to oppose abortion. In the same “Women’s Equality Day” speech where she celebrates that her daughter and 13-year-old granddaughter (holding a “Women’s Equality” banner) are in the audience.
There’s something so askew in our culture and politics when grandmothers are talking to us about their granddaughters’ abortions. Do they look at the little ones and thank God their daughters didn’t exercise their supposed right to “health care” and “freedom” and end the lives of their granddaughters? Or is that actually just for poor black women? Part of Pelosi’s “sinful” language was about poor black women. How about we help them be the mothers they already are? We need real leaders to inspire some unity on that kind of common ground for people of good will.

Sep 1, 2022 - Philadelphia, PA - President Biden Delivers a Primetime Speech on the Continued Battle for the Soul of the Nation
Why one of the ‘most important speeches’ of Biden’s presidency took place in Philadelphia. The 46th president praised Independence Hall as a symbol of his subject matter: the “fundamentals” of U.S. democracy. Delivering a primetime speech from Independence Mall in Old City, famously known as the birthplace of the nation, the commander in chief spoke about what he sees as threats to American political traditions. Biden’s speech in “the cradle of liberty” identified “MAGA Republicans” 13 times through the speech as the primary threat to the principles of the revolutionary documents crafted in Independence Hall.
"MAGA forces are determined to take this country backwards — backwards to an America where there is no right to choose, no right to privacy, no right to contraception, no right to marry who you love. They promote authoritarian leaders, and they fan the flames of political violence that are a threat to our personal rights, to the pursuit of justice, to the rule of law, to the very soul of this country."

Queen Victoria's Welcome to Deeside DESCRIPTION: "Ye hills and ye mountains surrounding Balmoral, ye groves and ye valleys, ye surely can tell." "The eighth of September will ne'er be forgotten... We ran and we jumpit... to welcome the Queen." Victoria and Albert's visit are toasted AUTHOR: unknown EARLIEST DATE: 1914 (Greig/Duncan1) KEYWORDS: home royalty HISTORICAL REFERENCES: Sep 8, 1848 - Queen Victoria takes possession of Balmoral Castle FOUND IN: Britain(Scotland) REFERENCES (2 citations): Greig/Duncan1 139, "Queen Victoria's Welcome to Deeside" (1 text) Ord-BothySongsAndBallads, p. 337, "Queen Victoria's Welcome to Deeside" (1 text) Roud #5605 NOTES [316 words]: The details in the song are not really enough to date it (no real indication of place; a date on the eighth of September, but no year), but it does mention "the Queen and her consort and three bonnie bairnies," as well as mentioning that the queen's husband in Albert. Thus Queen Victoria (1819-1901; reigned 1837-1901) and Prince Albert (1819-1861) are clearly indicated. There is one minor curiosity in the song. Balmoral had been tenanted by Sir Robert Gordon until 1847, when that worthy died unexpectedly. Victoria and Albert then leased the house. They in fact first arrived on September 8, 1848. But the song mentions only three children; by 1848, Victoria had no fewer than six: Victoria (future Empress of Germany), Edward (future Edward VII), Alice, Alfred, Helena, and Louise, with the oldest, Victoria, still a few months shy of eight years old. One suspects a political motive to the song. This was the era of the Highland Clearances, and not everyone in northern Scotland was happy with the English monarchy.... There seem to have been a *lot* of songs written about Queen Victoria's visits to Scotland. Broadsides on the theme include: NLScotland, L.C.Fol.74(218), "The Queen's Visit to Scotland" ("The Queen is coming here they say, / To Scotland coming down"), unknown, n.d. but probably published in connection with an 1842 visit; also as Bodleian, Johnson Ballads 2781 NLScotland, ABS.10.203.01(128), "The Queen's Welcome to Scotland" [by Andrew Park] ("The queen she is coming, hurra! hurra! / To the land of the thistle, hurra! hurra!"), unknown, n.d.; same broadside as L.C.Fol.74(219b) There are also broadsides on Victoria's trip to Ireland, plus there is a sort of a parody on these praise ballads, Harding B 14(123), "The Queen's Return from Scotland," J. Paul (London), n.d.; also 2806 c.16(121a), "The Queen's return from Scotland," G. Jacques (Manchester), etc. - RBW
Sept 8 - Queen Elizabeth II has died at Balmoral aged 96
Rainbow appears as people gather outside Buckingham Palace
World Mourns Queen Elizabeth II, Britain’s Bastion of Stability Buckingham Palace said the queen, who was 96, died peacefully at Balmoral Castle, her estate in the Scottish Highlands. Her son became Britain’s new monarch, King Charles III.
The day the queen passes is inevitable and the monarch has got it all planned out. Operation London Bridge is the not-so-secret plan for the United Kingdom after Queen Elizabeth II dies
Britain has an intricate plan that maps out the 10 days after Queen Elizabeth's death
Queen Elizabeth II is being mourned by her family, fans and admirers. In Britain, her death at age 96 has thrown a state apparatus into motion that has sat idle for 70 years — since Elizabeth's father, King George VI, died in 1952.
As well as Operation London Bridge, there is an additional plan called Operation Unicorn, which details what would happen if the Queen were to die in Scotland. Running concurrently with Operation London Bridge is Operation Spring Tide, which addresses the accession of King Charles III to the throne and his first trip to the countries of the UK.
1. Buckingham Palace already had a plan in place for the Queen’s funeral - codenamed ‘London Bridge' - had she died in London. However, there were special provisions if the monarch died when she was in Scotland, news agency AFP reported. 2. This plan was codenamed ‘Operation Unicorn.’ The name was chosen because unicorn is the national animal of Scotland and forms part of the royal coat of arms, along with the lion of England. 3. The day of Queen Elizabeth II’s death will be referred to as D-Day, while every day following that day will be referred to as D+1 and D+2 and so forth, as per multiple reports.

Originally scheduled ... Sept 14, 2022 - “Antelope” by Samson Kambalu will be unveiled on the Fourth Plinth in London’s Trafalgar Square. A sculpture that restages a 1914 photograph of a Baptist preacher and European missionary will adorn the Fourth Plinth. It will be the 14th Fourth Plinth commission since the programme began in 1998. The new artwork follows "THE END" which ended 15 August 2022.- See July 2022 events at Trafalgar Square.
The Fourth Plinth in Trafalgar Square was, by coincidence, empty at the time of Her Majesty's death. It is usually topped with sculptural art. London is almost certain to get a statue of the Queen, and probably sooner rather than later. For years, it's been rumoured that the Fourth Plinth in Trafalgar Square is held in reserve for such a memorial. Another contender might be Green Park.

The origins of the name of Lambeth come from its first record in 1062 as Lambehitha, meaning 'landing place for lambs', and in 1255 as Lambeth.
