Although
this Total Solar Eclipse will only be seen in North America, there are
convergences of events that are far-reaching.
From the sunset in Jerusalem to the heavenly alignment of stars,
planets, and constellations.

On August
9 and 10 we experienced a rare red “blood” moon due to smoke from area
wildfires. This occurred 3 days after the full moon and 11 days before the
eclipse that will pass over Oregon first. I shared some photos that I took
during the evening and recollections of the 2015 Blood Moon Tetrad.
For all
of us who live in the path of totally, the past year has been abuzz with talk
of this great “once in a lifetime” event for our city and state – and nation. Now, as the time grows near we are more

that the eclipse begins in the 33rd state (Oregon) – the state flag has 33
stars - and ends precisely at the 33rd parallel (South Carolina). A total
solar eclipse traversing the entire United States hasn't happened in 3 x 33
years and even more - the eclipse occurs exactly 33 days before the Revelation 12 Sign.
The Salem connections don’t stop in Oregon! There are SEVEN

Known as “The Great American Eclipse” it will be the most viewed
eclipse in history and it has certainly carried with it the most speculation.
On August 21st a 70 mile wide shadow of darkness will slice the nation in half.

We experienced an awesome
red-to-orange “blood” moon last night!!! I have never seen anything so brilliant as this. Years ago in September 2015 we sawone of the blood moons of the Tetrad, but that
moon was nothing like this large, close moon!
Smoke from distant wildfires is blowing into our area causing this
phenomenon. The colored moon is the only good thing coming out of the fires in
the forests and continual haze in our skies. I wish I would have taken a video
– I was in awe and too tired!
On September 27, 2015, we did see one of the blood moons of the Tetrad
that occurred simultaneously during the Feast of Tabernacles (Sukkot).
I
believe these celestial signs are warnings –
God wants
to get our attention and have his people draw close to him.
