Netanyahu is to meet US President Donald Trump to discuss the situation in the Gaza Strip, the hostages as well as "all components of the Iranian axis" when he meets with US President Donald Trump in Washington on Tuesday, Feb 4. Netanyahu noted that he would be the first foreign leader to be received by Trump since his inauguration on January 20. Feb 8 - World's largest earthquake in two years hits Caribbean islands as tsunami warning issued - A powerful earthquake, estimated at a magnitude of 7.6 struck the Caribbean Sea north of Honduras on Saturday, prompting neighboring islands and countries to issue potential tsunami warnings.
The Tsunami Warning Center initially reported the quake as a magnitude 8 before revising it making it the largest earthquake to hit the world since 2023.

Feb 21 - PNW Earthquakes - BRITISH COLUMBIA, CANADA — People in northwest Washington might have felt an earthquake Friday afternoon. According to the United State Geological Survey (USGS) the earthquake hit near Sechelt, British Columbia, which is about a two-hour drive north from Vancouver, B.C.
The USGS said its preliminary estimate was a 5.1 magnitude in British Columbia. Some other reports suggest it may have been downgraded to a 4.7.
Feb 22 - 2-22 - Residents from Tacoma to as far as Olympia and Camano Island reported sensations of the earthquake. A magnitude 3.4 earthquake has shaken the waking moments of residents in western Washington, giving an early morning stir to cities including Auburn and Seattle. The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) confirmed the seismic event occurred at 3:45 a.m., echoing beneath the earth's surface at a depth of 25.3 kilometers, as reported by KING 5. The quake’s epicenter pinpointed just southeast of Auburn, along the course of the Green River.
This is the second earthquake to happen in the Pacific Northwest in as many days. A magnitude 4.8 earthquake shook near Squamish, British Columbia Friday afternoon.

Strangely, a terrorist attack which took place early this morning in New Orleans, LA, saw the driver of a pick-up truck intentionally ram through crowds of people on historic Bourbon Street, in the French Quarter of New Orleans.
That truck was a Ford, model F-150 "Lightning" truck!
The Ford F-150 Lightning truck used in the attack was apparently rented through the Turo app -- a car sharing company, according to Rodrigo Diaz, the owner of the truck. Diaz told ABC News he rented the truck to an individual through the app and is currently talking to the FBI.

Come Tuesday, You Can See Six or Seven Planets in a Dazzling Planet Parade
2025 is starting off with a bang for skygazers, with a planet parade coming to the skies on Jan. 21. There will be six planets visible this time around, including Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Neptune and Uranus.

The exact origin of haggis remains a mystery, but it is thought that similar dishes of meat cooked inside an animal's stomach have been eaten since ancient times. Some think it was brought to Scotland by the Romans, while others say it was imported from Scandinavia or even France as far back as the 8th century.
Monday, Jan. 27, King Charles will head to Poland on Holocaust Memorial Day to visit the site of the Auschwitz-Birkenau camp for the 80th anniversary of its liberation.

Jan. 27, 1945 - Auschwitz was liberated 80 years ago. The spotlight is on survivors as their numbers dwindle. Soviet troops arrived at the gates of the Auschwitz and found some 7,000 weak and emaciated prisoners.
