Psalm 100

A Psalm of thanksgiving.

Make a joyful noise to the LORD,

all the earth.

2 Serve the LORD with gladness;

come into His presence with joyful songs.

3 Know that the LORD is God.

It is He who made us, and we are His;

we are His people, and the sheep of His pasture.

4 Enter His gates with thanksgiving

and His courts with praise;

give thanks to Him and bless His name.

5 For the LORD is good,

and His loving devotion endures forever;

His faithfulness continues to all generations.

Because of its regal nature, purple is often embraced by corporations to celebrate the centennial milestone. Also, diamond white is used to mark both the 60th and 75th wedding anniversary and is seen as a meaningful color that celebrates a big milestone.

April 19, 2017 - Tribeca * Empire State Building fashion images 150th * Earth Day

The Empire State Building is turning into a giant billboard on Wednesday, with massive projections of fashion images that will put Times Square’s posters to shame

The light show is in celebration of Harper Bazaar’s 150th anniversary and Tiffany & Co., and it'll be presented by Glenda Bailey, editor in chief of Harper’s Bazaar, and Jennifer De Winter, senior vice president of the Americas of Tiffany & Co. 50 – Jubilee – Pentecost

The Jubilee (Hebrew: יובל yōḇel; Yiddish: yoyvl) is the year at the end of seven cycles of shmita (Sabbatical years) and, according to Biblical regulations, had a special impact on the ownership and management of land in the Land of Israel. According to the Book of Leviticus, Hebrew slaves and prisoners would be freed, debts would be forgiven, and the mercies of God would be particularly manifest.
