Iran / Persia (not Arab)
The Lion and Sun motif is one of the better known emblems of Kingdom of Persia, and between 157 and 1979 was an element in the flag of Iran.[8]
The motif, which combines "ancient Iranian, Arab, Turkish, and Mongol traditions", became a popular symbol in Iran in the 12th century.[9] The lion and sun symbol is based largely on astronomical and astrological configurations; the ancient zodiacal sign of the sun in the house of Leo ...

On the celestial clock, a pointed reminder that the King (Jupiter) will be making His enemies His footstool (Castor's foot in Gemini, right at edge of Milky Way Heaven/Throne of God reminder). Between now and Aug 12th, the celestial declarations will just visually get stronger reminding us about Christ as the Mediator in the middle Who will one day be redeeming (picking up) His purchased possession.
Scripture warns us that THAT DAY is coming. That we will SEE it approaching. That we will know that THAT sudden destruction cometh and is on the way. That we will know that He is nigh. And as we see THAT DAY approaching, we should draw nigh to Him (our Beloved Redeemer) with a true heart (Heb 10:22) - a visual reminder so beautifully declared by the heavens at this important hour.

Exiled Crown Prince says now ‘best opportunity’ to topple Iranian regime

Iranian Crown Prince in Exile | Exclusive Interview with Reza Pahlavi on Reclaiming Iran's Identity
In this exclusive interview, Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi reflects on a life shaped by revolution, responsibility, and resilience. Born into Iran’s royal family, he shares intimate stories of his upbringing, his father’s approach to leadership, and the fall of the Pahlavi dynasty during the 1979 Iranian Revolution. Forced into exile as a teenager, Pahlavi recounts his journey of adapting to a new life, the challenges of leadership in exile, and his enduring vision for a free, secular, and democratic Iran.

Reza Pahlavi (Persianرضا پهلوی; born 31 October 1960) is the eldest son of Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, the last Shah of Iran of the roughly 53-year old Pahlavi dynasty, and his third wife Farah Diba. He was officially named Crown Prince of Iran in 1967 at the time of his father's coronation.

Pahlavi is the founder and leader of the National Council of Iran, an exiled opposition group,[3] participates in the Iranian democracy movement, and is a prominent critic of Iran's Islamic Republic government.

Historically, the title "King of Kings" (Shāhanshāh) is most prominently associated with Darius the Great (top figure) and Xerxes the Great (bottom figure), among other Persian monarchs of the Achaemenid dynasty.

October 12, 1971 - 2,500-year celebration of the Persian Empire
As part of his efforts to modernise Iran and give the Iranian people a non-Islamic identity, Mohammad Reza quite consciously started to celebrate Iranian history before the Arab conquest with a special focus on the Achaemenid period.[144] In October 1971, he marked the anniversary of 2,500 years of continuous Persian monarchy since the founding of the Achaemenid Empire by Cyrus the Great. Concurrent with this celebration, Mohammad Reza changed the benchmark of the Iranian calendar from the Hijrah to the beginning of the First Persian Empire, measured from Cyrus the Great's coronation.[145]

1971 - Ancient Persia resurrected * Persepolis * Shah of Iran "King of Kings"
In Persepolis, near the tomb of Cyrus I, the Shah planned to celebrate the 2500th anniversary of the founding of the Persian Empire, for three days, from 12 to 14 October, 1971. It would be “the biggest party on earth”, announced the Shah.

In October 1971 the Shah of Persia flew in eighteen tons of food to celebrate his country’s 2,500th anniversary and his own glory. Emperors, kings, presidents and sheikhs from all over the world were regaled for three days amidst the ancient ruins of Persepolis.

Shah of Iran - Mohammad Reza Shah took the title Shahanshah ("King of Kings")[4] on 26 October 1967. He was the second and last monarch of the House of Pahlavi. Mohammad Reza Shah Pahlavi held several other titles, including that of Aryamehr ("Light of the Aryans") and Bozorg Arteshtaran ("Commander-in-Chief").

How Iran Threw the World's Greatest Party In a Desert - https://youtu.be/6aF0UqC0J48
In 1971, Iran threw an extravagant and exclusive party to commemorate the 2500th anniversary of the Persian empire. The party had a grandeur never seen before in the world's recorded history. It had delicious food from the world's best restaurant, exquisite drinks, luxurious accommodations, medieval European style decorations, and more importantly - the party had the most decorated guestlist - heads of states from 65 different countries, emperors, kings and queens, princes and princesses, sheiks, sultans, and business figures of all kinds from 5 different continents. The venue of the event was not some ancient castle or a seven-star hotel, instead, everything was organized from scratch, in the middle of a desert, by building plastic tents.
The cost of all of this? Not a million dollars; Not a billion dollars; this party almost cost a dynasty. It proved to be a stepping stone for the rise of the Iranian revolution and the fall of the Iranian Monarchy that changed the country forever.

June 18 - Salem, OR. — The Oregon House hosted a performance to celebrate black drag queens on 6/18/2025. The performance was conducted in honor of a resolution put forward by Oregon House Democrats to honor “the history of Black drag in Oregon.” HR3’s chief sponsors were Rep. Travis Nelson (D) – Portland, and Rep. Shannon Isadore (D) – Portland. The resolution lists performers from the black drag community from 1969 thru 2025. House Republicans commented on the performance on X including Rep. Dwayne Yunker (R) – Grants Pass. In his post Rep. Yunker states “I’m not sure the Founding Fathers envisioned taxpayer-funded legislative chambers being turned into platforms for political theater.” No statements or posts had been published by Oregon Democrats at the time this article was posted.
Meanwhile, Oregon won’t fix their exploding homeless population or keep the streets overdose-free, but the left will  roll out the red carpet for drag performers in their legislative chamber.
If this is what the future of state politics looks like, democracy isn’t just dying; it’s being smothered in sequins, fake lashes, and bad choreography.
At this point, the only thing being dragged is Oregon’s reputation.
Note: The Oregon Governor is a lesbian.
Just to be clear with everybody. Most of us left the floor when this ridiculous display was going on. I mentioned it this morning in a post that we were going to have to tolerate this today. Some of us came back just simply to vote no.
This is something that should never have made it to the floor in our House of Representatives. We are literally burning our state down and we are destroying our businesses and this is all the Democrats can focus on. I am 100% opposed to this kind of behavior on the house floor. - Rep. Virgle Osborne

May 1 - Israel Fires near Jerusalem * 77th Independence Day

Jerusalem wildfires fuelled partly by non-native trees …
The JNF credits itself with having planted over 250 million trees since its founding in 1901. A vast majority of the trees, however, are non-native conifers not suitable for the country’s ...
As wildfires continue to ravage the hills around Jerusalem, burning nearly 5,000 acres and forcing evacuations, a heated discussion has emerged on social media platforms, attributing the fires’ intensity to the widespread planting of non-native European pine trees by 'Israeli' settlers.
Critics argue these trees, particularly Aleppo pines, are highly flammable and ill-suited to the Middle East’s hot, dry climate, exacerbating wildfire risks.
The claims, while resonating with environmental concerns, remain unconfirmed by official fire investigations, which are still ongoing.
The fires, which broke out on April 30, 2025, along Jerusalem, have been described as some of the worst in 'Israel’s' history, prompting a national emergency declaration by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
2011 report - In the state’s early years there was a rush to plant pines
The planting paradigm began to shift by the 1980s with a growing awareness of the importance of forest diversification. Other native varieties began to be introduced, including carob, pistachio, oak and other varieties of pine. The common oak is seen throughout the country’s forests as well as in the Golan Heights. Now the goal is to have as many “mixed” forests as possible with a focus on sustainable management, JNF officials say.
The olive tree’s deep historical roots date back some 10,000 years as this agricultural commodity took on important regional economic importance.
Other prominent trees in Israel include the carob, which grows throughout the country. Originally from Africa, it is a relatively late local species, and like other successful trees here it needs little water to thrive.
A cousin to the carob is the almond tree, whose white blossoms are harbingers of Tu b’Shvat’s arrival. Fig trees also are native and grow naturally near Israel’s rivers and streams. Cypress trees, which can live for hundreds of years, also are part of the Israeli landscape, most commonly seen in the North. Date palms, located in the Arava Desert and the Jordan Valley, grow naturally along desert streams.
A study concludes that 66% of Jewish Israelis are hypersensitive to the pollen of native olive trees, compared to only 16% of Arabs in Israel. The Israeli authors draw parallels to Australians who are highly allergic to Australian native olive trees compared to their indigenous population.

May 1 - A 3.9 magnitude earthquake hit just outside of Utah's capital city Thursday morning. The US Geological Survey (USGS) detected the tremor at 6:11am ET, with the epicenter located in Independence, about 43 miles southeast of Salt Lake City. More than 2,200 people within a 45-mile radius reported feeling the shaking.

23 May 2025 - UN Peace and Security
Diplomats prepare ground for June conference on two-State solution for Israel and Palestine
The preparatory session brought together UN Member States to align expectations and finalise arrangements for eight thematic roundtables that will help shape the conference’s outcome.
General Assembly President Philémon Yang urged countries to seize the crucial opportunity to finally make progress.
“The horrors we have witnessed in Gaza for over nineteen months should spur us to urgent action to end the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. The devastating cycles of death, destruction, and displacement cannot be allowed to continue,” he said.“This conflict cannot be resolved through permanent war, nor through endless occupation or annexation. It will only end when Israelis and Palestinians can live side by side in their own sovereign, independent States, in peace, security, and dignity,”
Co-chairs France and Saudi Arabia emphasised the need for the June conference to go beyond reaffirming principles and achieve concrete results on the ground.

Wait: transition time
The second month, a time of second chances
Counting the omer is also about waiting and transition. There’s a seven week gap between Passover and Pentecost, and the days are counted as they go by. Numbers have great significance in the Bible: Noah and his family waited for forty days and forty nights for the rain to stop. Jesus was tested in the desert for forty days, and came back after rising from the dead for another glorious forty days. Right before He then ascended to heaven, Jesus told His disciples to wait in Jerusalem. They waited ten days, till the Feast of Shavuot. It was at Pentecost when the Holy Spirit, came...

May 25/26 - Iyar 28 - Jerusalem Day
Yom Yerushalayim, or Jerusalem Day, is observed this year from Sunday evening, May 25, through Monday night, May 26. It celebrates the 68th anniversary of the reunification of Judaism’s holiest city.
Today, Israel’s control of the parts of Jerusalem that the Israeli Defense Forces liberated in 1967 is consistently and vehemently contested by Arabs, who claim those areas rightfully belong to them. This claim is a cornerstone of the daily anti-Israel propaganda disseminated by Mahmoud Abbas and his Palestinian Authority associates.
Here’s the thing, though: the area Abbas refers to isn’t “East Jerusalem” at all. It’s just Jerusalem. What’s more, there is no political entity known as “East Jerusalem”—not now and not at any point in history.
The latest of these claims came on May 17 in Baghdad, where Abbas addressed fellow strongmen and despots at their 34th Arab Summit.
