The things which God has prepared

1 Corinthians 2:9

But as it is written:

“Eye has not seen, nor ear heard,

Nor have entered into the heart of man

The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”

And what has been prepared for us?

The Way, the Truth, and the Life

John 14 “Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. 2 In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. 4 And where I go you know, and the way you know.”

5 Thomas said to Him, “Lord, we do not know where You are going, and how can we know the way?”

6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me."

Matthew 7:13-14

[ The Narrow Way ] “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.

The Feasts of the Lord

John 7:37

In the last day, that great day of the feast,

Jesus stood and cried, saying,

If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.

The plan of redemption, lived out through weekly and annual observances of God’s Holy Days, demonstrates the blueprint of our salvation. Understanding the Festivals that God established can deepen our walk with our Messiah – Jesus Christ - the fulfillment of the shadow represented by these observances.

Shofar Blowing - Prophetic Act

The first time our fathers heard the shofar calling out from the heaven was in the Sinai desert. All these years since then, its amazing voice has been accompanying Israel in the countries where the Jewish peoples have been scattered. Again and again for over 3,000 years God's people have been blowing the horn of a sacrificial animal around the world, thus fulfilling the commandment of God to celebrate the Feast of Trumpets - Yom T'ruah.

God – Elohim – created a cycle of rest at the very beginning.

Genesis 2:3

And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it:

because that in it he had rested from all his work

which God created and made.

Our Creator lovingly laid out the instruction for His Holy Convocations – days that occurred in the spring and fall of year.

Leviticus 23:1-2

And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,

Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, concerning the feasts of the Lord, which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations, even these are my feasts.

This is a short overview, highlighting some of the basic knowledge of what and why God gave us these special observances. There is much more to learn and discover about God’s festivals and we look forward to celebrating them with our very Creator in their fulfilled glory!

Ephesians 2:8-9

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves:

it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Jesus Christ - Yeshua Hamashiach - is our Passover Lamb! It is by his shed blood that we are saved (1 Corinthians 5:6-8). It is important to note that we live under grace through the sacrifice of Christ. Yet these living symbols can enrich the comprehension of the finished work of Christ and deepen the understanding of future prophetic events.

Celestial Clock

Psalm 19:1-3

"The heavens declare the glory of God;

and the firmament sheweth his handy work.

Day unto day uttereth speech, and

There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard."

night unto night sheweth knowledge.

When we LOOK UP we see the clock
- God's created timepiece as presented in the sky!
We are near the midnight hour!

Luke 21:28

And when these things begin to come to pass,

then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.

This gives new meaning to the reference of MIDNIGHT -

Matthew 25:6

And at midnight there was a cry made,

Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.

In addition, the celestial clock of predictable revolving constellations

gives new understanding to the names of Christ - Alpha and Omega.

Revelation 1:8

I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending,

saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.

Note: Mazzaroth (constellation) or Biblical astronomy studies the creation that God made and set in order. It is not astrology which the bible admonishes us not to follow.

Bolt and Lightning

Luke 17:24

For as the lightning,

that lighteneth out of the one part under heaven,

shineth unto the other part under heaven;

Bolt, the quick Olympic runner from Jamaica has been in the news every day. Lightning images have gone viral along with media references to lightning and electrical charges.

One of the attention-getting headlines read:
